Reduction of maintenance and down time always was and always will be a major goal for any port operation. Components break down because of design flaws, insufficient lubrication, less than optimum material choice or simply because the conditions and usage are more severe than foreseen. DRIE-D cannot change operating conditions but everything else falls within our area of expertise.

Our D-glide bushings, wear plates, guides and slides are a maintenance free replacement for bronze equivalent parts; D-glide is more wear resistant and friendlier for the counter face than bronze, is much better in dealing with shock loads and vibrations and can in most cases be used without any lubrication. DRIE-D has the engineering knowledge and capacity to improve designs and provide all technical support necessary and a long track record and extensive portfolio of successful applications.

With our wide range of friction components we are often able to increase life times of the brake pads and shoes, friction discs and clutches found on straddle carriers, automatic guided vehicles, cranes, reach stackers and so on.

The delivery program includes sheaves - metal and plastic -, wear pads, roller bearings, rod ends, precision parts, refurbishment and virtually any other mechanical component found on port terminals.
